Because a dirty book is rarely dusty.

About Me

I grew up in a family where sex wasn't an open topic. When I was fourteen years old I was at my local library searching for summer reading material when I noticed the romance section. Intrigued by the covers of women with their eyes half-closed and the men with rippling pectorals, I grabbed one of the books and sandwiched it between The Witch of Blackbird Pond and The Great Gatsby. The librarian frowned when she held up my romance novel to the scanner. "Kids shouldn't be reading this stuff," she muttered as she handed me the book. The disdain in her eyes haunted me as I slunk back home. I felt as if I had just made my first heroin purchase.
I consumed the book in one sitting, immediately swept away by the strong-willed heroine and the quick-witted hero. I got my first glimpse of sex outside of health class, and what I read wasn’t repulsive or offensive--and certainly didn’t warrant the look the woman at the library had given me. The book was extremely engaging and well-written, and when the two lovers came together in the bedroom the words stirred something inside me. I had no idea sex could be so beautiful, so passionate. If it weren’t for Nora Roberts, my only perception of sex would have been the grainy sex education videos in my health class where teenagers with feathered bangs warned that sex was serious stuff and for procreation only.
As the years went by I devoured more romance novels, experimenting with different genres. While I loved the sensuality of these books, as I grew older I began to crave more carnal descriptions. Suddenly I was no longer content with the throbbing scepter that plunged the velvet cavern. Soft and sensual is great, I thought. But can’t romance and hot sex go hand in hand? Surely there were other women that wanted their romance stories with a little more juicy detail, a little more heat. I wanted more than a beautiful poem when two bodies intertwined--I wanted descriptions that would cause my hands to wander!
Now, years later, a movement has occurred in romantic literature. Women’s voices are reaching the publishers as they begin to chant, “We like sex, too!” Thanks to online publishers like phaze.com and Ellora’s Cave, a new kind of romance--erotic romance--has emerged. In erotic romance stories readers still get the great characters and epic romance, but now they get some really hot sex as well! Romantica can range from sensual to extremely graphic, and phaze.com even allows readers to choose stories based on their preferences. My stories often contain words that might make some blush, but I’m never gratuitous, and the story and characters are just as important to me as the sex.
While not yet the Ernest Hemingway of erotic literature, naughty story ideas swarm my mind faster than I can write them down, so expect to see more moaning maidens and femme fatale fairies in the near future. I am currently a college student at an overpriced university in Orange, California. When I find myself zoning off during yet another lecture on the nuances of Huckleberry Finn, I can sometimes be seen scribbling down my latest tawdry escapade. Let’s hope my professor never says, “Those don’t look like lecture notes, Miss Bee. Why don’t you read your little endeavor to the rest of the class?”
I love literature of all genres, and my bookshelf contains everything from Candide to The Story of O. Some of my favorite books include The Glass Castle, The Birth of Venus, Rubyfruit Jungle, and The Bread Givers. When I’m not buried in schoolwork, I work as a product consultant and article contributor for the adult online store pleasuresoflife.biz and am currently working on an erotic science fiction romance novel. I have great sex.

                                         Interview from ladyjaided.com

Q: Tell us about your most erotic romantic fantasy. If you could have a 24-hour romantic fling with
anyone you wanted, anywhere you wanted, where would you go, what would you do and who would
                 you do it with?
A: I’d want a sexual Baskin Robbins experience (31 flavors of carnal exploration). I’d love to lock
myself in a room for 24 hours with nothing but an enormous pile of sex toys and a lover with a
libido like a rabbit on Viagra.
Q: Tell us about ATHIMA and what you hope readers will enjoy about it.
A: It’s a science fiction book but I feel that even the readers who don’t normally prefer this
genre will really enjoy the story. It’s got a sexy heroine who’s half human, half cat, and her
unique persona and physical endowments (oh, what a girl could do with a tail!) add a whole
new level of intrigue to the sex.
Q: What’s your writing space like?
A: It’s a cluttered abyss that looks like something the main character in The Shining would
use as his write-the-same-sentence-over-and-over-again workstation. My computer desk is a bit
like my mind: chaotic. But some of the best minds of the century have tamed their erratic
personalities to create little jewels of brilliance.
Q: What do you like about where you live?
A: I’m originally from Portland, Oregon, so right now I’m liking the sun. I was starting to think
the sun was  just a myth, and then I moved to California and finally knew the joy of owning no
wool sweaters. It’s quite funny; when it rains in southern California everyone runs around like
chickens with their heads cut off. They think water falling from the sky is some kind of Biblical
                 plague.
Q: If you could have one special super or magical power, what would it be?
A:Everyone probably says flying, so I’ll be the rebel who craves X-Men-like powers. I’d love to
control things with my mind. Think of the possibilities! In one of my stories, Scaring
Artemis, one of the characters is able to strip his lover of her clothes and levitate her body
into seductive positions using only his mind.
                 Q: What’s your favorite smell?
A: Pumpkin pie. It’s my signature scent.
Q: What else would you like readers to know about you or your work?
A:That I love my characters. I always aim to give them wit and personality because I know
the frustration of reading stories in which the characters are hollow and und dull. Also, I love
dirty words. It is possible to have scenes that rival porn movies while featuring characters
who have a strong emotional connection.
